Eddie Lawson 500 GP Cagiva 1991 Qualifying
A few minutes worth of onboard film from Eddies Cagiva at the end of Qualifying at Eastern Creek. Still my favourite piece of onbaord grand prix footage. Awesome at 0:52 !!! Lawson #1

althought these were animals, the new bikes have bout 40 more hp
in saying that, the new bikes are just as hardcore,
rossi has ridden this and other gps so he knows
Real Bike…for real men…no traction control…no electronic gear…just sensitivity !
he’s god……..
beautiful
I wouldn’t worry. I think the fact that Japan have won what, 35 of the last 36 top class championships? Says much. The fact that Cagiva are currently owned by Harley Davidson pretty much finishes that picture.
Wow, that’s kinda harsh don’cha think?
great CAGIVA fuck Japan
amazing footage. Great to see this.
the real race motorbike
lovely sound. I want two strokes back in the GP!
500!!!

Que potencia que hermoso cruze y sonido, me emociona, imprecionante…
Powered by 2 stroke.
Made in Italy…. hahahahaaaaaaaaaaa
Casey Stoner would cry if you put him on that cagiva, he would be off at the first corner without all his electronic aids. Caseys an AIDSman.
These were the days!!! EDDIE LAWSON broke the mould!!!! A TRUE LEGEND!!! Who else could take a Cagiva round like this????
Like Eddie said”you did’nt ride it, you pointed it.
Just awesome…thanks for posting this vid
eddie lawson, one of the best, shame he went back home as a shadow in his homeland, these are real racebikes, not like today, as the best of them all says “When i first get on the 500, fuck!” Valentino Rossi
brilliant stuff!! thanks for the vid mate!
Fast rider, slow hand..just amazing
also no quickshifter yet in 1991
)
Eddie Lawson était l’un des plus grands, avec une délicatesse et une gentillesse exceptionelle, dommage qu’il n’ais pas sa place dans le coeur des motards, c’était un seigneur !
Viva la 500!!!
