Is there anyway to install a free gps tracker on a cell phone?
Want i want to do is like install a gps server on a memory card for a phone so all i would have to do is put the memory card in it and then have a program on my computer that lets me be able to track it. The cell phone does have internet. Is there any program that does this? And thats free and works on a mac?? Windows is okay too.

A GPS tracker is hardware.
Some phones, on some carriers, are made to be trackable by the user – some aren’t. (All cellphones sold for use in the US have to be trackable by E911 turrets.) Contact your cellphone carrier. (You could probably write a program to do it but that would depend on the phone, the carrier and your ability to write software.)
here is a smart phone spy software that can help track gps location
You can try below cell phone GPS tracking softwares for free:
Glympse: http://cellphonetrackers.org/best-free-cell-phone-tracker-software-glympse.html
MobiWee: http://www.eastmobiles.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=124:free-mobile-tracking-software-mobiwee&catid=35:gps&Itemid=59
They are all free and worked well, hopt it helps.
